Take the tram
Sit back, relax and take in the famous sights on a European commuter-style tram. These run along the entire stretch of the coast between Blackpool South and Fleetwood.
The £100m revitalisation of the seafront tramway was one of the first regeneration projects to be completed in Blackpool. The next phase will see it extended inland from the Promenade to Blackpool North Railway station. This tram and train interchange will enable business guests to arrive by train, hop on a tram and move around Blackpool seamlessly throughout their stay.
If you have heard wonderful things about the town’s original heritage trams you can still experience an authentic journey during your stay. The tramway upgrade has enabled the traditional tram cars to remain in operation, so a trip back in time can still form part of your itinerary.
