The Blackpool Bank Holiday weekend in Blackpool is hotting up. After years of planning, ICON has now been launched to the world – and wow, does it look good (and a little bit hair-raising!). The new £16m ride at the Pleasure Beach is the latest addition to more than £20m of new attractions in resort this year including the Marvel Comic Super-Heroes interactive exhibition at Madame Tussauds and a brilliant new elephant house facility at Blackpool Zoo.
