The World in Your Hands

The World In Your Hands is a surreal, playful exploration of the natural world and our place within it. Inspired by historical Cabinets of Curiosity, on the small doors of this surreal installation open, they reveal an epic world, where hands and arms morph into absurd creatures, from squids and sharks to birds to insects and plants. Using manipulated footage of a pair of hands as performers, The World In Your Hands presents a view of the nature that is grotesque yet disconcertingly familiar.

CHRISTOPHER HARRISSON

Christopher Harrisson is a Bristol-based storyteller specialising in animation and projection design. His work is driven by playfulness and combines digital and analogue media to create engaging and accessible narratives. A finalist in several international projection mapping contests, including Shining Shanghai, Tokyo Lights and LUNAR Festival of Lights.

JACK DREWRY (composer and sound designer)

Jack Drewry is a composer, sound designer and theatre maker based in Bristol. He uses music and sound to tell stories that connect with both live and at home audiences across theatre, radio and film.
