Grey, drizzly weather? Not inside the tropics of Sandcastle Waterpark!
British weather is rarely pleasant at this time of year, but at the Sandcastle Waterpark, the temperature is a constant, sub-tropical 84°F! Close your eyes to hear the splash of the waves and feel the heat on your skin.
Better yet, explore the 18 fantastic attractions that this indoor paradise has to offer! Sail the seven seas on the tremendous HMS Thundersplash, rock to and fro in the Typhoon Lagoon and brave the Masterblaster – the UK’s only water rollercoaster!
Grab a rubber ring and be gently carried around Ushi Gushi River Creek, or add-on admission to the Sea Breeze Spa for a small fee. Relax in the aromatherapy room, salt inhalation room, steam room and sauna, and be sure to enjoy the lap of luxury with the foot spas and heated loungers.
Sandcastle Waterpark is open on weekends until February half-term.
Book your tickets here. Have some splashingly good fun!

Be charmed in the Blackpool Tower Ballroom
Whatever the weather, nothing can detract from the glorious opulence of The Blackpool Tower Ballroom, especially now it has re-opened after its extraordinary £1m renovation.

There are plenty of indoor exhibits where you can interact with and learn about the range of fantastic animals here. What better way to cheer up this dreary month than by getting some face time with these cute critters?

Head to the Comedy Carpet for a belly laugh
We all need a bit of a laughter in our lives throughout January. Head to the Comedy Carpet, one of the largest displays of public artwork ever commissioned in the UK, and marvel at the extensive array of quotes from comedians and writers, including jokes, songs and comedy catchphrases.
The enormous 1880 square-metre magic Comedy Carpet experience is not to be missed when visiting the resort.
See? Blackpool needn't be gloomy. We're looking forward to making some great memories with you in 2022!
