From stylish coffee shops to decadent global cuisine, Blackpool has it all. Here are a few of the great new places we urge you to go and explore!
Slug and Lettuce Blackpool
We’ve been anticipating the opening of this beautiful new bar located on Queen Street for some time! Located in the centre of the town’s vibrant nightlife, this contemporary and fun bar and restaurant is perfect for celebrating a range of occasions, evidenced by their wide range of menus. There is the typical day and evening menus, but there’s also a menu for signature dining, buffets, baby showers and afternoon tea!

The atmosphere is lively and friendly with stylish dining areas and fantastic birdcage booths – perfect to book for a party or get together!
Michael Wan’s Wok Inn
The Wan family have been cooking up delicious Chinese food in Blackpool since 1961, and the Wok Inn is the newest venture. It has been designed as a fusion of a Budapest ruin bar meeting a Penang hawker market. Don’t worry if you can’t picture it, because it’s never been done before! Trust us when we say it’s wonderful, and the Guardian referred to it as “utterly beguiling”!

The interior will take your breath away, and you can make the evening even more special by sitting by the window and enjoying the sunset with a bowl of tasty noodles and ice cold beer!

Creams Blackpool
We were so excited when we learned that Creams was coming to Blackpool! Right by Blackpool Tower, Creams is all about big, flamboyant desserts. There are skyscraping, colourful sundaes, waffles and crêpes with sumptuous fillings and amazingly inventive shakes. You can also get creative, customise your fantasy dessert with all your favourite treats!

Stefani’s Pizzeria
Great pizza will always hit the spot, and so you should definitely head to Cedar Square and pop into the wonderfully authentic Stefani’s Pizzeria. Owner Nico’s late grandfather Pepe once owned a pizza takeaway on Blackpool’s busy sea front with his sons, a passion that was passed through the generations. Pizzas at Stefani’s are completely handmade using only the best Italian ingredients cooked in a wood-fired oven.
We enjoyed a fabulous Christmas-themed pizza in December, but our staple favourite is ‘The Don’, a pizza with Stefani’s original tomato sauce, 100% mozzarella then a serving of pepperoni with sausage meat, fresh red onion and basil – yum! You can complete your meal with a true Italian pastry – those canolis are fab!
