Local award-winning paranormal events company Supernatural Events is back with its thrilling and chilling Blackpool Ghost Walks at Easter!
This year there are new stories, new locations and the walk now includes a “Victorian Séance” experience in what many have described as one of the town’s most haunted buildings!
Join The Victorian Ghost Hunter, Haunted Blackpool author and founder of Supernatural Events, Stephen Mercer, on a Blackpool Ghost Walk this Easter and he will guide you from the Promenade through the town’s streets and lanes where he will stop at some of Blackpool’s most important (and most haunted) buildings, attractions and outside spaces and tell you tales of terror, stories of the supernatural, horrifying hauntings, myth, mystery and the macabre!
The 2019 spooky strolls will feature many new stories along with a few old favourites and at the end of the walk everyone attending will be invited to experience a "Victorian Séance" in an upper room in an authentic Victorian building; the first full size brewery pub in the resort, The Blue Room.
Robert Wynne, owner of The Brew Room said, “Since we re-opened this old Victorian pub we have all noticed spirits of all kind in the building. The upper floors are particularly well preserved and particularly spooky.”
Stephen added, “I have been hosting the outside walking tours for eight years now and every year I include some new stories. This year there will be even more new tales to tell, as well as some new stops on the tour; but that’s not all. Something I am really excited about is this inclusion of a “Victorian Séance” experience which will take place at the end of the ghost walk. I will be inviting those attending to join me on an upper floor in The Brew Room, to try and communicate with the spirit world; just like they did in Victorian times! It’s going to be fun… and yes… a little bit spooky!”
The Easter Blackpool Ghost Walks take place on Saturday 6, Thursday 11, Saturday 13, Thursday 18, Saturday 20 April at 7.30pm and begin at the Tourist Information Centre, Festival House on The Promenade (next to The Beach House) FY1 1AP. They last approximately 90 minutes and are family friendly.
