Last chance to see Grayson Perry’s exhibition at Grundy Art Gallery!

Having already welcomed more than 5,500 visitors, Grayson Perry's exhibition, The Vanity of Small Differences, is proving to be one of Grundy Art Gallery’s most popular exhibitions.

 
Closing on 15 December at 5pm there are now less than two weeks left for you to catch this stunning Arts Council Collection exhibition and as the last venue in the current tour, Grundy Art Gallery provides the final opportunity to see it in its current form.
 
The Vanity of Small Differences comprises of a suite of six large-scale tapestries that explore the artist’s fascination with taste and the visual story it tells of our interior lives.
 
Inspired by William Hogarth's moral tale, A Rake's Progress, the tapestries are composed of characters, incidents and objects Perry encountered while gathering inspiration for the television series, ‘All in the Best Possible Taste with Grayson Perry’ which first aired on Channel 4 in June 2012. 
Elevating the common place dramas of everyday life, Perry weaves the characters that he meets into a narrative every bit as acute as that in Hogarth's 18th century paintings.
