In 2024, Coral Island said goodbye to Peggy’s Snack Bar to make way for a brand-new dining and eating experience at Coral Island
Coral Harbour Kitchen and Bar, a fresh new concept, has been devised and built in time for February half-term.
A piratical food hall and street food market, Coral Harbour Kitchen and Bar is no wretched hive of scum and villainy, but a family-friendly venue with a wide range of dishes and cuisines from all around the world, but with the nautical twist everyone has come to expect from Coral Island.
Take an international culinary voyage!
So, what is on offer at Coral Harbour Kitchen and Bar? We hope you’ve worked up an appetite while having fun in the arcade, as there’s so much delicious food available, from old family favourites to oriental and Mediterranean dishes, drinks, desserts and more!
Fish and chips is a must-do activity when visiting the seaside, and if that’s what you’re craving, then they've got it all at Coral Harbour Kitchen and Bar. There’s the award-winning fish, the perfect chippy chips, best served with lashings of salt and vinegar, jumbo and battered sausages, peas, gravy, curry and all your chip shop favourites.
What about a taste of the Orient? Their British Asian kitchen has a menu that is bound to get your mouth watering! There are wok-fried noodles and egg-fried rice with a range of toppings, including salt and pepper chicken, sweet and sour pork, crispy chilli beef, chicken curry, and Szechwan vegetables. Or what about a tasty bao bun stuffed with duck in hoisin sauce, battered fish and miso and lemon mayo, slow-cooked belly pork, or roasted cauliflower garlic and chilli?
Sometimes only a juicy burger will fill a hole when you’re starving, and they have got just what you need at Coral Harbour Kitchen and Bar. Take your pick from 3oz, 6oz and even 9oz 100 per cent British beef smash burgers, served with tomato relish, pickles, and fries, or fried chicken served on a brioche bun with crunchy lettuce, bacon, and mayonnaise.
There’s spit-roasted chicken, with a selection of sweet and spicy glazes, or what about a huge hot dog, served in a sub roll with fries, and topped with cheese, chilli con carne, and a side of onion rings or battered crispy onion pieces?
Visit Little Italy for all the pasta dishes you could ever ask for! There’s Rigatoni, with Italian sausage, and mascarpone sauce, Penne, with bolognese sauce, Farfalle, with creamy mushroom and bacon, Penne, with pesto, and sliced grilled chicken, Conchiglie, with roasted vegetables, and arrabito sauce, or our pasta of the day. All perfect with a side of baked garlic bread, or cheesy garlic bread!
Of course, Coral Harbour Kitchen and Bar is included in the Kids Eat Free offer, and there’s a menu of kids’ favourites available, including fish and chips, burgers, penne pasta, chicken nuggets, and hot dogs.
Are you starting your day out in town at Coral Island? It’s always a great idea to grab a hearty breakfast to get you prepared for adventures, and you can be sure of that at Coral Harbour Kitchen and Bar.
Serving until 11 am, you can order from a packed breakfast menu, including a traditional full English and speciality breakfast sandwiches served on toasted ciabatta, stuffed with your choice of bacon, sausages, eggs, mushrooms, hash browns, and grilled tomatoes. That’ll keep you fed and happy until at least lunchtime!
But whether it’s breakfast, lunch, or dinner, a day out deserves a sweet treat, and you should certainly head to Dessert Island for a wide selection of ice creams, candy floss, doughnuts, and more.
Of course, you’ll want something to wash down all that tasty food, and there are hot and cold beverages available, including tea, coffee, and soft drinks. But the adults might be after a swig of pirate grog, and the place to be is Silver’s Bar, where you can order beers, spirits, and nautical-themed cocktails.
