Following a sold out show in 2021, the team behind PierJam have just announced that they will be heading to Blackpool’s Tower Festival Headland for an exclusive one off show for PierJam’s Tower Festival on Saturday 30 July 2022. The ONLY PierJam event of 2022.
Now in its 7th year, PierJam, 2022 will see the widely popular summer events series reach dizzyingly new heights with a host of world class live acts and DJ sets already confirmed to play this exclusive one off date with multi platinum, chart topping international superstar and RnB & Garage icon CRAIG DAVID just announced as the first headliner to take to the stage.
Presenting his iconic TS5 party, the PierJam Tower Festival, will see Craig David combine his live vocals with a sizzling DJ performance as he produces live mash-ups and edits of his biggest hits.
CRAIG DAVID is no stranger to the DJ life. Before the success of his solo career, Craig started out as a DJ working the UK club circuit; he then went on to sell over 15 million albums as an artist, enjoying 14 Top 10 hits and achieving multi-platinum status in more than 20 countries.
Number 1 hIt makers RUDIMENTAL (DJ SET) join Craig David for their PierJam debut this Summer at the iconic Blackpool seaside location. The multi-award winning Drum & Bass quartet are responsible for huge hits such as ‘Feel the Love’ alongside John Newman and which entered the UK charts at Number 1, ‘Waiting All NIght’ featuring Ella Eyre which also topped the UK charts, as well as ‘Never Let You Go’ and many more.
Outrageous Bradford born rap trio BAD BOY CHILLER CREW will be bringing their antics to the stage on Saturday 30th July. The Bassline collective who are up for multiple award nominations at the NME awards 2022 including Best New Act in the World and Best New Act from the UK will be sure to wow crowds at their PierJam debut when they take over the Tower Festival Headland for the ONLY PierJam of 2022.
Chart topping producer / DJ NATHAN DAWE, who smashed the UK charts with huge tracks such as ‘Lighter’ alongside KSI & Ella Henderson, as well as No More Tears with global superstars Little Mix, will also make a return to the PierJam decks alongside Swedish producer and artist A7S who has enjoyed a slew of platinum and number 1 records and has garnered over 1.6 billion streams globally with massive tracks such as ‘Breaking Me’ and his collaboration with Grammy winning ATL rapper Lil Baby and German DJ Topic ‘Why do you lie to me’. The most in-demand MC on the scene; GENERAL LEVY who joins this already INCredible line up.
Fans can also expect a full on assault of Bass driven beats when we welcome back PierJam firm favourites CRUCAST for a full on stage takeover at the 10,000 capacity one off PierJam show. With SKEPSIS, DARKZY, KANINE, WINDOW KID, ZERO, GENTLEMENS CLUB, CAJAMA, LAZCRU & MC AD set to take to the stage on Saturday 30th July 2022.
Special guest BOU will also join the CRUCAST crew this summer, marking yet another PierJam debut at their 2022 festival event and as one of the most recognised Drum & Bass DJs on the scene he will be sure to whip fans up in a frenzy when he takes to the decks.
The new location;, just a stone’s throw away from the original North Pier venue;, Blackpool’s Tower Festival Headland, set between a backdrop of the North West’s stunning shoreline and under the watchful eye of the iconic 158m Blackpool Tower, will see the event series double in capacity to welcome over 10,000 festival attendees on Saturday 30th July 2022 for the only 2022 PierJam event.
The Tower Festival event,will be PierJam’s biggest and boldest event to date with organisers promising they will be pulling out all the stops to create a unique festival experience, with more acts to still be announced, a huge main stage production, an exclusive VIP festival experience and a host of festival stalls and attractions.
