Speaking Words of Wisdom, Come and Watch Let it Be!

No matter your age or music taste you can’t help but sing along to these classic songs performed by the cast of Let It Be.

Introduced by four analogue televisions set in the four corners of the stage, the first shows the story of their rise to fame. Beginning at their Royal Variety Performance in 1963 you, the audience, are encouraged to get involved and sing along just like you would at their live concert – which resulted in a beautiful rendition of Yesterday by the audience.

Moving through The Beatle’s music in chronological order, we then move onto their America tour and their show in the Shea stadium.The TV screens shows footage from the day of crowds screaming and the news at the time. Be prepared as this show is all about getting you up and moving, so get up and do the Twist and Shout!

Sergeant Peppers Lonely Heart’s Club sees vibrant outfits and theatrical staging. Smoke and lights transform the stage and psychedelic vibes are strong during the rendition of Strawberry Fields which places you firmly in the 60s. This is followed by music from the 'Magical Mystery Tour and the White Album.

The second act is imagining their reunion ten years after The Beatles split up. Not only do they sing more classic songs, but there’s a treat for fans who like a bit of old fashioned rock and roll. Queue a powerful rendition of Live and Let Die and some other much loved songs.

The outfit and set changes throughout the show really bring the songs alive, reflecting their location at the time and the way they dressed. Each singer embraces their character’s mannerisms in the way the act and talk.

Being in the crowd you can see the mix of emotions, from pure excitement to a nostalgic memory back to their younger days. But every single person had a smile on their face; and many with tears in their eyes as they sang along to Hey Jude. 

The show is a brilliant tribute to The Beatles performed by four very talented men (and their musical director). It’s not one to miss!
