Blog Peter Pan the Musical - Review 20 December 2017 by Visit Blackpool Last night we sent our young blogger Nicholas Frith down to the Opera House, Winter Gardens with his Grandma to watch Peter Pan the Musical… This is a brand new production starring Jake Quickenden and Jennifer Ellison along with Blackpool’s own Maureen Nolan and Scott Gallagher. Join the boy who never grew up, along with Wendy, John and Michael, as they take on the villainous Captain Hook and her band of merry pirates in the ultimate battle for Neverland. With a feisty fairy, a group of lost boys and hits such as Our House, Can’t Stop The Feeling and a mix of festive favourites – this is the perfect adventure for the whole family to enjoy this Christmas. We spoke to Nicholas to find out what he thought of the show straight after… here’s what he had to say… What did you think of the show? I loved it…the story was good and the actors where great! The music was modern and not old time musical music… so I could sing along to some of the songs… and loads of people did. What was your favourite song? I really enjoyed the mashed up version of Uptown Funk! Who was your favourite character in the show? Definitely Smee! He was so funny and goofy… and told loads of silly jokes! He really made me laugh! Would you recommend the show to your friends? Absolutely… and I’ll go with them! Would love to see it again! Peter Pan is running until Sunday 7th January and tickets start from £10, don’t miss out on this great family show. Click here to book.
