Theatres & Shows Blackpool’s Buttons & Cinderella’s Ugly Sisters are Unveiled! 29 April 2020 by Visit Blackpool The Winter Gardens Blackpool and Charming Pantomimes have unveiled the latest stars to join the amazing line up in this year’s spectacular version of Cinderella at the Winter Gardens this Christmas! Steven Roberts, Hollyoaks’ George Smith, will play one of the Ugly Sisters and has previously starred in Aladdin and London Palladium’s Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. Steven’s ugly sister will be played by Daniel Taylor, an award-winning actor, whose credits include Brookside, The Bill and Blood Brothers. Finally, Blackpool’s very own Tam Ryan an accomplished singer and stand-up comedian who has appeared in Coronation Street, Waterloo Road and Emmerdale will play Buttons! For the past two years Tam has played Buddy in Elf the Musical playing to huge audiences on the UK arena tour. Starring Shirley Ballas as Fairy Godmother, Jennie Dale as Wicked Stepmother, David Ribi as Dandini, Steven Roberts and Daniel Taylor as Ugly Sisters, and Tam Ryan as Buttons with further casting to be announced.
