Madame Tussauds Blackpool Supports the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning

Employees at Madame Tussauds will be donating their time from 8am – 10am on Friday 27th September to support the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support.

As well as donating their time, team members, friends, family and local cake companies will be baking their finest cakes accompanied with refreshments between 8am and 10am. This event will be open to everyone. For a small donation to Macmillan Cancer Support you can enjoy a delicious cake, tea or coffee and FREE entrance into the attraction. Radio Wave Breakfast show presenters Ged Mills and Hayley Kaye will be broadcasting their show live from the set of The Rovers Return in Madame Tussauds.

Madame Tussauds commented on why they have chose to support The World’s Biggest Coffee Morning this year “Everyone at some point in their lives will have known someone who has had or been affected by cancer” Paula Renshaw, employee at Madame Tussauds said “I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer in 2010 and the care and support I received by the Macmillan team at Blackpool Victoria Hospital was amazing. They supported me and my family through a very difficult time and I so grateful to them for everything they did to get me through my cancer experience. This is a fantastic opportunity to give something back and show support to them”

Madame Tussauds will be open as normal from 10am on Friday 27 September where cakes, tea and coffee will be sold for donations throughout the day while stocks last.
