Region’s Biggest Ever Indoor Festival to Hit Blackpool in December

The largest indoor festival to hit the North West will take place in Blackpool this December, complete with a stellar line-up of some of the biggest names in the music industry.

Radio 1 DJ Danny Howard, Alex Huckerby and Lytham Proms organisers Cuffe and Taylor are bringing Blackpool Rocks – a one-night festival featuring seven rooms of live music – to the town.

The event will take place in the Blackpool Winter Gardens on 21 December. It is set to provide a huge boost to Blackpool’s night-time economy, as more than 8,000 people are expected to flock to this never-before-seen festival.

Danny Howard, festival director, said: “This is the first time, in a very long time that Blackpool will experience an event of this size and trust me when I say it’s long over-due. It will be a true indoor festival affair with a line up featuring A-List superstars within their respected genres including Dance, Indie, Urban and much more. “
