The new walk-through aviary is home to more than 30 Rainbow Lorikeets, which are small friendly parrots that are native to Australia.
Rainbow Landings is open throughout summer from 11.00am until 4.30pm and at other selected times during the year.
Visitors can purchase nectar for just £1 per pot to hand feed the Lorikeets, who aren't at all shy and will happily perch on arms and hands while enjoying their treat!
Luke Forster, Section Head of Birds at Blackpool Zoo, said: "Our Rainbow Landings attraction has been an instant hit with our visitors.
"People of all ages are absolutely loving being able to get up close and personal with our brightly coloured beauties and, of course, the Lorikeets are delighted with all the attention!
"It's been a really exciting year in the bird section here at Blackpool Zoo with the opening of World of Wings, two stunning new songbird aviaries and now Rainbow Landings!
"People often come to zoos to see the big animals like elephants and lions, but once they are here they also become mesmerised by our beautiful birds, which is brilliant to see!"
