Viva Vegas Diner Throws Open the Doors!

The new venue has seen the former Harry Ramsden’s building undergo an extraordinary transformation into an American style diner complete with seating styled as Cadillac cars.
 
Last night saw VIPs and special guests invited to take the diner for a spin by business partners Martin Heywood and Leye D Johns, with delicious food samples from the menu and live music from the resident band.

Martin Heywood, Managing Director of Viva Blackpool, said: “We’re hugely excited to be bringing this unique dining and entertainment experience to Blackpool.
 
“We wanted to create something which was a little bit different and we’ve pulled out all the stops to put make the diner the very best it can be.
 
“The entertainment element will give surprising and unexpected moments that will get people talking and we’ve recruited a new chef who has cooked up a delicious menu that people will love.”


 
Building on Viva’s top quality entertainment, resident band ‘The Fremonts’ will be providing the musical soundtrack for diners as they enjoy tantalisingly tasty burgers, fried chicken, pancakes and more besides.
 
A new Head Chef, Thomas Simkin, has been recruited to lead the kitchen team and has designed the new menu, using his 15 years experience of working in Florida’s culinary establishments.
 
The diner has seating for 160 people and will be open from 09:30 until late daily, with breakfast being served until 11:00. The resident band will take to the stage each evening.
 
The bar area of the diner offers an informal setting, perfect for early evening drinks, with a range of delicious cocktails, craft beers and high quality wine, while the seating area has video screens and phone charging points.
