SEA LIFE Blackpool celebrates a very merry ‘Fishmas’ as it opens Sharky’s Grotto

This festive season, visitors can meet Sharky, SEA LIFE’s friendly mascot who will be donning his Santa hat and beard to welcome children to the centre’s very first Sharky’s Grotto where they will receive a free Christmas present.

Children can also take part in special ‘Fishmas’ activities and solve the festive fish trail for an extra special treat. All guests will also be entered into a free draw to win some amazing prizes, including a Snorkelling with Sharks experience for four, worth over £200!

Jenn Newton General Manager said, ‘We want to give all our customers who visit over the Christmas period an extra special dose of festive cheer. Offering great prizes and a chance to meet Sharky in his Grotto means visitors of any age can come along and join in the fun.’

Donations will also be taken for Merlin Entertainments very own charity Merlin’s Magic Wand which helps give memorable experiences to seriously ill, disabled and disadvantaged children across the UK.

Sharky’s Grotto will be open every weekend until 22^nd December from 12noon – 3pm.

SEA LIFE on Blackpool’s famous Promenade has been welcoming guests for an amazing underwater adventure for over 20 years. From shoreline to the deep sea, visitors learn all about how they can help to protect the amazing species living underwater near and far with over 50 dazzling displays and 2,000 spectacular aquatic creatures.
