Have You Got What it Takes to Star on Stage at Blackpool Opera House?

Actors are required for a number of leading roles in what promises to be an unforgettable production of the timeless classic A Christmas Carol.
Leading actor and musical theatre star Paul Nicholas – who is currently directing the critically acclaimed and stunning production of The Who’s classic Rock Opera Tommy at the Opera House – is starring as Scrooge in A Christmas Carol.
Parts including Bob Cratchit, Mr and Mrs Fezziwig, Young Ebenezer, Young Marley and the Ghosts of Christmas Past and Future will be up for grabs at the auditions which will be held at Blackpool Winter Gardens on Saturday, September 26.
Paul said: “I’m delighted we’re holding open auditions for A Christmas Carol.
“This is an amazing opportunity to perform on the UK’s largest theatre stage and feel first-hand what it’s like to be involved in a live theatre production.
“History tells us there is fantastic talent in Blackpool and wider Lancashire so I really do hope we are inundated.
“This is going to be a very difficult but also very enjoyable process.”
Sign up for the auditions takes place at 9.30 am in the Foyer Bar, Winter Gardens, Blackpool this Saturday, September 26.
Please bring a headshot and CV and be prepared to attend a movement call in the afternoon if required. Recalls will be on October 1st and 2nd in London. All actors must be available for both recall days.
