#BlackpoolsBack has surveyed 2,000 British children aged between 6 and 17 years old to ask them which destination would top their holiday wish-list, and Blackpool came out on top.

Children believe that a successful family holiday should include a real beach, a seaside location, a theme park and a waterpark; Blackpool has all of this and plenty more.

Iain Hawkins, spokesman for the 2015 #BlackpoolsBack campaign, said: “We ‘blind’ tested the holiday opinions of 2,000 children aged 6 and 17 asking them to rate their perfect holiday based on a wish list constructed from a number of factors, Blackpool, was the only one that managed to tick all the boxes. Even Orlando and the Costa del Sol couldn’t manage that.”
