Blackpool-based Supernatural Events is resurrecting its thrilling, and oh-so-chilling, Blackpool Ghost Walks for the February Half Term “Horror-days”.
The spooky strolls will take in the town’s most haunted hotspots where you will hear tales of unearthly events that will make you question everything you thought you believed in!
Join the Victorian Ghost Hunter aka Stephen Mercer, author of Haunted Blackpool and founder of the local spooky events company Supernatural Events, who will guide you to some of the resort’s most famous, and most haunted, locations where you will hear tales of terror, mystery and the macabre as well as stories of the supernatural and of course ghosts galore!
Blackpool Ghost Walks will take place on Friday 10th, Saturday 11th, Sunday 12th, Saturday 18th and Sunday 19th February at 7.30pm. The spooky strolls begin on the promenade (meeting at the front of North Pier, next to the ice cream and candy floss stall beneath the large LED advertising screen) and wind their way around streets in the town centre stopping at some of Blackpool’s most important buildings and attractions with those in attendance learning of the town’s haunted heritage!
Stephen said, “I have presented Blackpool Ghost Walks since 2010 and I am so pleased that both residents and visitors to the town enjoy them. I am regularly asked to host more, so this year will see an increase in the number spooky strolls around the town. The walks will take place during all major holiday periods including February Half-Term, Easter, both May bank holidays, the summer season and beyond. There will be some new stops en route this year, with new stories as well. I can’t wait to get started!”
Blackpool Ghost Walks, which have been constantly rated the number one tour in Blackpool on TripAdvisor for the last 18 months, are an outside walking tour and take place whatever the weather; so please dress appropriately! They last approximately one and a half hours, are fully accessible and fun for all the family.
