Blackpool’s legendary ballrooms and shimmering dance floors have long set the dancing pace, from novice tea dances to the glitzy professionals of Strictly Come Dancing. Village Urban Resorts Blackpool is offering dancing enthusiasts the opportunity to learn a new hobby and experience the glitz, glamour and thrill of well-loved dances.

Ballroom fans will be taught a variety of thrilling sequences, by trained instructors, over a course of two or three days, ranging from favourites Modern Jive, Argentine Tango, Salsa, West Coast Swing and Cha Cha. Performers will have the opportunity to take part in a group finale performance to showcase their new dancing skills.

Guests will also be offered dinner, bed & breakfast and an afternoon tea at Tower Ballroom on the final afternoon. Prices range from £189 per person for the weekend, and £225 per person for a midweek break.

Strictly Ballroom takes place on 10th and 11th of January 30th and 31st of May and midweek from 3rd, 4th and 5th of March 2014.
