Joe Longthorne’s Seal Of Approval For VIVA – new dates for the fans’ favourite on sale

After a stunning 2013 season at Viva, the brand new promenade venue, Joe Longthorne MBE has announced that he’ll be back next year with another season of shows in 2014 with his full band and support from July 27th through to November 2nd 2014.

Viva, on Church Street and a stone’s throw from Blackpool Tower, is the great new venue that’s got everyone talking after an appearance on Ant and Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway and is the number one Blackpool venue on Tripadvisor.com. It features funny man Leye D Johns along with guest vocalists and the Viva showgirls.

Speaking of the new shows, Joe says: “We’ve got big plans next year for this great venue and we’ve got more shows to announce, but I wanted to get my 2014 summer season in the diary and confirm my intentions for next year to stay at what I consider to the finest venue of its type in the country.”

He added: “I’ve had a brilliant time here this year and whilst we’ve not even finished this year yet we’re busy making plans for 2014 and all I can say is that I’m inviting some of the biggest names in music to come to town and I’m so pleased to be a part of the success this place is enjoying.”

Venue director and show host Leye D Johns also returns to host ‘The Joe Longthorne Show’ in 2014. Leye said: “It’s brilliant news and really satisfying to know that Joe and his fans have enjoyed the shows this year in a different style of setting than what we’re used to. We’re thrilled to have Joe back with the band next year and I’m already talking to Joe and his team about how we take the show to the next level… if that’s possible? It’s really pleasing to see Viva develop as a venue that can host all types of shows for all types of audience. We have family shows each weekend, our own in house production ‘VIVA’, the great Joe Longthorne, plus visiting shows from the likes of Chubby Brown in December and top tribute shows.

“A very special show announcement will be made in early October kicking off a string of one off dates in 2014 which will really put us on the map.”
