#PANTO DAY! Over 230 Uk Theatres Get Involved!

We all know #Panto is a huge Christmas tradition… To celebrate, @Grand_Theatre #Blackpool is offering the chance to WIN an amazing VIP FAMILY experience to help people spread the word of #Panto Day – Saturday 7 December 2013.
One lucky winner who Tweets the @Grand_Theatre and adds #GRANDpanto to the message saying in just 126 characters why they should win the following VIP experience;
- A VIP Private Family Box* for 4 people to see Peter Pan
- A Meet and Greet with members of the cast
- An exclusive backstage tour prior to the show
- A free Peter Pan programme packed with activities
The competition will close at 5pm on National #Panto Day (Saturday 7 December 2013).
The Grand Theatre’s pantomime Peter Pan stars Emmerdale’s Tom Lister (@tomlister), BBC Radio Lancashire’s Steve Royle (@steveroylecomic), Radio Wave’s Hayley Kay (@misshayleykay) and The Voice UK‘s Jordan-Lee Davies (@jordanleedavies) from Friday 6 December to Sunday 5 January 2014.
Tom Lister is best known for his role as Carl King in ITV’s Emmerdale, a role he has played for the last 9 years. Aside from this, Tom has also appeared in The Bill, Doctors and Heartbeat. His theatre credits to date include playing Ralph in Accrington Pals (West Yorkshire Playhouse), Titus/Fool in Bill Shakespeare’s Italian Job (Gilded Balloon – Edinburgh), Pan in Love’s Mistress (Globe Theatre) and Oberon in Midsummer Night’s Dream (Settle Festival of Theatre).
Playing Smee in Peter Pan in his eleventh year in Grand Theatre panto is comedian, actor, writer and BBC Radio presenter Steve Royle.
Mrs Darling and the mermaid will be played by Blackpool’s favourite Radio Wave presenter, Hayley Kay. Hayley is a well known presenter at events across the Fylde Coast including Miss Blackpool, Lytham Proms and this year hosting the 101st Illumination Switch On Celebrations at the Tower Festival Headland alongside Jonathan Ross and Gary Barlow.
Finally, playing the role of Peter Pan is the talented Jordan Lee-Davies, who is best known for singing his way into Will I Am’s team on The Voice UK (BBC).
You can see the magical, adventure-filled pantomime Peter Pan at the Grand Theatre Blackpool from Friday 6 December 2013 to Sunday 5 January 2014.
