Madame Tussauds Blackpool Raise £372.00 for Macmillan Cancer Support

Employees at Madame Tussauds donated their time from 8am – 10am on Friday 27th September to support the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support.
Radio Wave presenters Ged and Hayley presented their breakfast show live from the Madame Tussauds set of The Rovers Return which had an wonderful array of freshly baked cakes, biscuits and muffins available for donations, all made by friends, family, staff and two local cakes companies Kellycakes on Whitegate Drive and The Blackpool Cake Room on St. Annes Road.
In addition to donations of cakes, tea and coffee, there were several other fundraising activities taking place. Guests were invited to guess the name of the teddy, guess how many sweets were in the jar and had the chance to throw the highest score on the darts board. Overall a very impressive £372.00 was raised for Macmillan Cancer Support.
