Which Blackpool Illumination suits you best?
That’s the question which a new quiz by VisitBlackpool is aiming to answer for fans of the world famous display.
The quiz, based on the personality test format, asks players a series of questions and, based on the answers respondents give; works out the part of the display which best suits their personality.
Are you dapper like Decodance or a whole lot of fun like our Alice in Wonderland tableaux? Maybe you’re flashy like our Bling section or a bit scary like our Jelly Monsters?
Illuminations fans are being urged to give it a go now at www.visitblackpool.com/illuminations-quiz.
A spokesman for VisitBlackpool said: “Blackpool Illuminations, as its fans know, is full of personality and charisma.
“From the incredible colours of the tableaux at the north end of the Promenade to the twinkling lights of Bling around The Blackpool Tower and the classic features of the south end of the display, it really does have something for everyone.
“This quiz is a bit of fun and will let fans of the Illuminations find out which section of the display suits their personality best.”
VisitBlackpool are also targeting the resort’s celebrity fans to see which Illumination they are likened to.
Blackpool Illuminations’ celebrity supporters are now being asked to take part too.
Will Illuminations star curator, Laurence Llewleyn-Bowen come out as an illumination of his own or something completely different? Will former Dr Who David Tennant come out as a Dalek or Strictly Come Dancing’s Darcey Bussell reveal herself as being like Swan Lake? We’re excited to find out!
Other celebs VisitBlackpool will be asking to take the test are Chris Evans, Holly Willoughby and Philip Schofield, Jonathon Ross, Gary Barlow, Jason Manford, Robbie Williams and friends including Jonathan Wilkes and Olly Murs – all fans of the UK’s favourite seaside resort.
And there’s still time to visit the world-famous Blackpool Illuminations which shine nightly until 9 November.
