CIRCOLOMBIA BRINGS SOUTH AMERICAN CIRCUS TO THE TOWER FOR SHOWZAM! 2015

High energy Columbian circus company Circolombia are set to bring their unique style all the way from South America to Blackpool Tower Circus for Showzam! 2015.
Billed as ‘circus like you’ve never seen it before’, the company bring a team of highly skilled and powerful performers with an impressive skillset and the fearless grit to perform terrifying stunts live on stage; this is one show you don’t want to miss.
Not only are the company a unique one but the show is brand new work and LeftCoast, VisitBlackpool and SeaChange are thrilled to be bringing it to Blackpool ahead of its official premiere at the Roundhouse in London.
Inspired by Columbia’s diverse communities the show features 14 of the most talented performers from across the country. Blending stupendous circus with high energy dance and featuring an original soundtrack this is circus like you’ve never seen it before.
All of the artists from the company trained and graduated from National School or Circo Para Todos (or Circus For All) that supports vulnerable and at risk young people in Columbia through circus training. The company includes some of the biggest stars of international circus who have been on an incredible journey to join this amazing company.
LeftCoast’s Artistic Director, Michael Trainor, said:
“We’re delighted to be bringing Circolombia to Blackpool in what we think is a first for the town. This really is a show like you’ve never seen before – an explosive coming together of killer circus and fast paced dance moves – it’ll knock your circus socks off so treat yourself.”

Circolombia is showing at The Blackpool Tower Circus from 14-18 February at 2.30pm daily with a special preview show on Friday 13 from 7.30pm and tickets are £8 for adults, £5 for children with family tickets available at £20 for two adults and two children*.
