Children Go Free For The Hoff’s New Stage Show

Blackpool Winter Gardens today announced that children will gain free* tickets to see the new David Hasselhoff stage show Last Night A DJ Saved My Life.
The Opera House is staging the World Premiere of the show from October 16 – November 1.
And as the show coincides with half-term, Blackpool’s busiest week of the year, all children attending with a paying adult will get a free ticket.
Jon Conway has written and directed the show. He said: “I want to see as many families as possible coming to see this show.
“This is the ultimate party and everyone involved agrees it is a great show where young and old, and all those in between, will have an absolutely fantastic time.
“And therefore we want to ensure that as many families as possible can come. Live theatre is a wonderful thing and if by offering free child tickets that means that many more families get to see the show then that is what we want to do.”
The Hoff, as he is known to millions of fans across the world, leads the cast for the Ibiza-themed romp playing an extrovert, party going DJ and night club owner at the start of the 1990s. His teenage daughter arrives to stay for the summer and he has to cope with being a single parent to a girl who wants to meet boys and live the party life.
‘Ride on Time’, back to a ‘Saturday Night’ in the 90’s ‘When Things Can Only Get Better’, ‘The Only Way Was Up and girls wanted to ‘Spice Up Their Life.’
The cast also includes Blackpool’s very own Shane Richie Jnr, Kim Tiddy and Stephanie Webber.
Michael Williams, Managing Director of Blackpool’s Winter Gardens, added: “It’s great to be able to offer free tickets for children. We frequently offer great incentives to ensure whole families can see shows and I am delighted that the producers of Last Night A DJ Saved My Life want to do this.
“It’s the October half-term holidays for the second week of the show and as Blackpool’s busiest week I hope to see many families enjoying the Winter Gardens’ hospitality.”
*A child ticket is anyone aged 16 and below. One free child ticket is available for every paying adult
