Supernatural Events is back with its thrilling and chilling Blackpool Ghost Walks this Summer. Throughout the holiday period join Haunted Blackpool author Stephen Mercer on a spooky stroll to learn of the town’s history, heritage and of course its hauntings!
Blackpool Ghost Walks take place from Friday 25th July to Sunday 26th October and your Victorian host will guide you along part of Blackpool’s Promenade and into the town centre, taking in some of the resort’s haunted highlights including some of its most famous buildings and attractions.
On a Blackpool Ghost Walk there are ghost stories galore along with tales of terror, mystery and macabre! Supernatural Events’ founder and host of the walks Stephen Mercer said, “I have presented occasional Blackpool Ghost Walks since 2010 however this year I am thrilled to be able to host the walks right through the summer season. During the main school holiday period the ghost walks will take place five nights a week.
“Blackpool Ghost Walks are totally family friendly; so everyone is welcome to join me as we walk along part of our famous Promenade before winding our way around the town centre, stopping at some of Blackpool’s most important historic buildings and attractions to hear stories of ghostly goings-ons, eerie encounters, strange sounds, supernatural sightings, phantoms, shipwrecks, foghorns and much more! It’s going to be fright-fully good fun and I can’t wait to get started!”
Blackpool Ghost Walks begin at 7.30pm from the front of North Pier (the meeting point is next to the ice cream/candy floss stall). They last approximately one and a half hours and are fully accessible for all. Tickets, which cost £5, £3.50 for under-14s and just £15 for a family of four, can be purchased in advance via www.BlackpoolGhostWalks.co.uk where you can view a full list of ghost walk dates. Tickets can also be purchased from the Visit Blackpool Tourist Information Centre on the Promenade (call 01253 478222) or from your tour guide on the night of a ghost walk.
