The Blackpool Pier Company are gearing up to reopen their Piers on 12 April.
Blackpool North, Central and South Pier have an array of bars, rides, games and food stalls that are eagerly waiting to reopen, with the Pier Arcades reopening in line with the roadmap on 17 May.
North Pier
Blackpool North Pier has had some amazing transformation over the past 18 months with most noticeably our new bar Bloom located at the end of the Pier.
Bloom Bar is a beautiful, luxurious lounge bar serving amazing beverages and food surrounded by modern interiors and comfy seating areas. All set in a unique location, with stunning views of the Irish Sea and of course The Blackpool Tower. At weekends, Bloom Bar hosts DJs playing funky house classics along with other live entertainment. The bar also serves Afternoon Tea and their mixologist’s cocktails are touted as some of the best in town! Bloom Bar reopens 17 May.
The Gardens is brand new for 2021. This is the outdoor ‘sister’ bar and adjacent to Bloom located in what was North Pier's old solarium. This beautiful bar has had a total transformation which now features an outdoor cocktail and champagne area, serving fabulous drinks in a unique and unrivalled setting.
The Gardens is surrounded by glass and it still features the original glass solarium building, the bar is complemented by organic floral displays, comfy seating areas and contemporary furnishings. There will be a variety of live entertainment throughout the season, weather permitting. Delicious hot and cold food will be served from The Tram. The Gardens opens its doors for the first time on 12 April.
The North Pier Lounge Bar located at the front of the Pier will reopen from 12 April, outdoor only.
The Conservatory Bar located on the Pier at the rear of the Arcade will operate as a takeaway service, allowing customers to have a gentle stroll down the pier enjoying a cool, refreshing drink. Reopening date is 12 April.
Theatre Bar will reopen 17 May.
Central Pier
The Terrace Bar is an outdoor bar situated on the Promenade adjacent to the Pier. The views at Terrace Bar are like no other; with the beach at your feet and The Blackpool Tower just a stone’s throw away, it's one of the best scenic spots in the town.
The Terrace Bar serves drinks only and specialises in gin and prosecco, served from their custom built bars constructed from shipping containers which have been teamed up with modern decking areas and a retractable sun roof with heaters, allowing you to make the most of those views.
The Terrace Bar hosts a variety of entertainment from singers, bands and DJ’s. Open daily from 11am, weather dependant. The Terrace Bar reopens 12 April.
Pirates Bay is Blackpool’s largest family bar situated at the end of Central Pier. Pirates Bay is a 700+ seating capacity venue and the Blackpool Pier Company is proud to say that they have some of the best free family entertainment in Blackpool.
The bar features indoor and outdoor seating. There are arcade machines to keep you even more entertained, a gift shop along with Captain Cooks serving delicious food. Pirates Bay reopens 12 April, outdoor only.
The Showbar is located at the front of the Pier and hosts the Pier's seasonal show, Kings & Queens along with other one-off events. The Showbar reopens 22 May.
South Pier
The Gin House is brand new for 2021. What was formerly The Laughing Donkey Bar, the Gin House is a new concept, featuring a total renovation both inside and out. The Gin House will be serving an array of specialised gins and proseccos along with the usual favourites.
The Gin House has a large 300 capacity outdoor seating area, including an outdoor bottle bar. It will be hosting relaxed entertainment throughout the season including singers and bands, opening for the first time on 12 April (outdoor only).
All bars across the Piers operate on a first come first served basis, there is no booking system.
Outdoor bars will be open daily from 11am until late and all bars opening hours are weather dependant.
