An exciting line-up of vintage pop legends will headline the Saturday night concert of Blackpool iFest – the new name for Blackpool’s Illuminations Switch-On Weekend.
VisitBlackpool, in association with Sky’s Vintage TV channel, have announced that top 80s names Bananarama, Jason Donovan and Paul Young, will be among the performers at the September 5 event.
And for a limited time only, buying a ticket for a discounted price of £10 (normal price £15) will secure you a free wristband for the biggest night in Blackpool’s calendar, the Friday night Illuminations Switch-On featuring Hollywood superstar Tim Burton, The Vamps, Lawson, Professor Green and many more!
The wristband offer is also redeemable on purchase of a £10 ticket for the iFest Sunday night show – an incredible evening of comedy featuring Al Murray – The Pub Landlord – and a host of other top names.

Headliners Bananarama, need no introduction having had a massive 32 Top 40 UK hits, released 10 albums and sold 30 million records.
Jason Donovan, meanwhile, rose to fame in Australian soap opera Neighbours, before selling over 3 million records and scooping four UK number one singles including the legendary duet “Especially for You” with Kylie Minogue.
Music legend Paul Young is famous for hit singles such as “Love of the Common People”, “Wherever I Lay My Hat”, “Come Back and Stay”, “Everytime You Go Away” and “Oh Girl”.
Best known for his unmistakable hair style, Limahl became famous as the lead singer of Kajagoogoo while Owen Paul is the Scottish singer, producer and co-writer of the 1986 UK and European smash summer hit, “My Favourite Waste Of Time”.
T’Pau completes the line-up and are best known for the hits “Heart and Soul” and “China in Your Hand”.
The event takes place at Blackpool’s stunning Tower Festival Headland seafront arena.

The event is part of a stunning weekend of star names that forms VisitBlackpool’s annual Illuminations Switch-On Festival, Blackpool iFest.
