VIVA - Summer Season Launch 1 July 2019 by Visit Blackpool One of Blackpool’s leading entertainment venues, has announced their new shows planned for the rest of the year during a glittering season launch event. VIP’s, tour operators and hotel owners were invited to a special preview event at VIVA Blackpool, where they enjoyed a drinks reception served by VIVA’s very own glamorous showgirls in the venue’s fabulous Festival Suite. Tasters of the new shows planned for the year were performed during the evening, as well as a tour of the venue and event space. The evening ended with an after-show party at Viva’s Vegas Bar and Grill. Shows coming up for the 2019 summer season include the UK’s most popular ABBA act, Viva Voulez Vous, rock and pop band, Jersey Beats and the High Jinx magic, illusion and circus show. Martin Heywood, owner of VIVA Blackpool said: “We’ve got some incredible shows planned for this year, from stand-up shows like Roy Chubby Brown and Jim Davidson to some of our own inhouse shows, including circuit favourites The Jersey Beats and our spectacular Viva The Vegas Variety Show.” Some of the highlights for the 2019 season include: Roy G Hemmings, Hits of Motown – the original Drifter member Roy Hemmings in this outstanding live show, bringing you unforgettable music that takes you back to the good old days of Motown and disco - 5th July. Roy Chubby Brown live – 12th July High Jinx – a professional variety show including magic, illusion and escapology - July, August, October and November. Jersey Beats - a show which celebrates the story of the famous Four Seasons Group which took the world by storm in the 1960s and 70s with Doo-wap hits like “Big Girls Don’t Cry” and “Oh What a Night.” - on throughout the year. Viva Voulez Vous - A spectacular celebration of the songs of Europe’s original pop four-piece ABBA - on throughout the year.
