Visit Blackpool

It's show time

Whether enjoying some fantastic theatre entertainment, giggling 'til you burst at live comedy or cuddling up on a unique cinema loveseat, there's nothing like enjoying some high quality entertainment with your significant other, and there's plenty to do to celebrate your relationship this Valentine's Day.

Comedy Station

The Comedy Station is Blackpool’s longest running comedy club, and it remains one of the most popular in town. Compered by Ryan Gleeson, an evening at this show includes brilliant performances from three comedians, from up-and-coming performers to seasoned stars. The comedy here isn’t for the faint-hearted, but we visit frequently and have an excellent time with every visit.

There’s a great selection of drinks and snacks at the bar, with a really fun cocktail menu. The venue is small so you feel really intimately involved in the show and you’ll have a great view wherever you’re sitting.

School of Rock

School of Rock, Andrew Lloyd Webber’s award-winning smash hit musical premiered on Broadway in 2015, and has since been seen on stages around the globe. From February 14-17, the production hits the stage at Blackpool Grand Theatre.

In the show, Dewey Finn, an unsuccessful yet aspiring rock star, decides to make some extra money by pretending to be a substitute teacher at a distinguished preparatory school. He transforms a group of straight-A pupils into an incredible rock band by teaching them how to play guitar and bass unbeknowst to the students' parents and the school's headmistress. Can he get them to the Battle of the Bands undetected?
