Have you had enough of the winter blues?
Then prepare to be entertained: The UK’s most popular seaside destination is back in business.
February half-term will see a whole raft of visitor attractions opening their doors for parents and children to celebrate the first school holiday of 2019.

Here’s just a sample of what’s on offer:
-
WOW weekends at Blackpool Pleasure Beach! This is your chance to blow away the post-New Year cobwebs with a day out at the most ride-intensive theme park on the planet – and at a fabulous price of less than £20! Seriously? If you didn’t ride the brand new ICON rollercoaster last summer, then shame on you! Make amends by visiting the park on one of the discounted February and March weekends.
-
Make a date with the new lady Doctor at the brand new Dr Who experience at Madame Tussauds. You will find a spookily lookalike figure of the 13th doctor in this immersive experience complete with Tardis.
-
Baby, it might be cold outside, but the Sandcastle Waterpark enjoys an 84-degree tropical climate. With over 18 slides and plenty of exciting attractions, there is something to entertain the whole family in the UK’s largest indoor waterpark.
-
Two of the resort’s most wonderful attractions – The Blackpool Tower and The Grand Theatre – celebrate their 125th birthdays in 2019, so what better time to join the party. Richard Cadell will be bringing his all new Sooty Show to the Grand on February 18 and many of the Tower attractions including the magnificent ballroom will be open to guests throughout the half-term break.
-
If animals are your thing, then don’t miss out on a trip to Blackpool Zoo, home to more than 1000 animals. What sets this magical place apart from other zoos? Close encounters with animals, excellent facilities for our less able visitors and happy, friendly staff who want to make your visit fun and some of the cutest critters imaginable.
-
And don’t forget that so much of what Blackpool has to offer is free! Whether it’s walking on the Prom and beach; exploring one of our three piers; or whiling away an hour or so in an amusement arcade, there is something for all the family.
