HRVY joins the Blackpool Illuminations Switch-On line-up 9 August 2018 by Visit Blackpool One of the UK’s hottest new music talents is joining the Blackpool Illuminations Switch-On concert. Teen sensation HRVY, who has millions of fans around the world, will perform on the Tower Festival Headland on Friday 31 August. The 19-year-old British singer has attracted his huge global following on the back of infectious pop tunes like Hasta Luego and Personal, which has had more than 150m views on YouTube. He also has an astonishing 3.5m followers on Instagram. HRVY, who has also worked as a TV presenter on CBBC’s Friday Download series, will perform on the Switch-On stage in a line-up that also includes Ella Eyre, Rae Morris, Jonas Blue, Diversity, DVJ, Club MTV DJs R3Wire and Varski and MTV presenter Becca Dudley. The Friday night celebration will start with a “Blackpool Introduces” showcase featuring the best of talent from across the Fylde Coast, prior to the start of the main show. International music star Alfie Boe will pull the switch to kick-start 66 nights of Illuminations in the UK’s favourite beach resort. The ballot for the 20,000 free wristbands to attend the Switch-On concert has now closed.
