Actress Emma Atkins signs up to support Lancashire Women’s Centres Fundraising Challenge ‘WalkWith’

Actress Emma Atkins has confirmed she’ll be able to #WalkWith Lancashire Women’s Centres (LWC) during their fundraising challenge on the 8/9th September 2018. LWC are inviting members of the community to register for their challenge to raise vital funds and to raise awareness of the work of the charity.
 
The challenge, called ‘WalkWith’, will see staff, volunteers and supporters of the charity walking up to 40 miles in 2 days across Lancashire, and via all five of their Women’s Centres. The walk will start in Burnley – with plenty of fun along the way- and ending with a big bash at Blackpool on the Comedy Carpet, helping to mark the centenary year of women gaining the right to vote.

Anybody can join them, walking as much or as little as they can. The walk will be made up of a number of sections that have been selected to be as accessible as possible.  You can #WalkWith your bestie, your mum, your brother, your work team, on your own or with our friendly team.  You can even consider taking part as a team event or completing a relay from centre to centre.
