A visit to see Father Christmas is always a magical annual tradition for many families filled with surprise, wonder and dreams. We’ve heard the exciting news from Santa’s special elves that the main man himself is returning to the seaside to sprinkle some seasonal spirit during selected dates throughout December.

From decadently decorated grottos to Santa sightings from afar, venues in Blackpool are pulling out all the stops to deliver an unforgettable experience. It’s almost time to find out if your little ones have been naughty or nice. Find out where you can see Santa in Blackpool below.

Blackpool Pleasure Beach always make Santa feel at home. Set in a picturesque winter wonderland with twinkling lights and dazzling displays, the Pleasure Beach Grotto offers an enchanting experience for your children to enjoy.  

Not only will your little one meet Father Christmas in a memorable one-on-one encounter, but they will also receive a special gift from the main man himself, a complimentary hot drink to escape the chills outside, and a ‘Do It Yourself’ bauble making kit. Your child will also be given a packet of ‘magic reindeer food’ and a ‘magic key’ with special instructions on what to do with both of them on Christmas Eve.

Exit through the Bubble Waffle CafĂ© where you can treat yourself to some festive goodies and a delicious Christmas bubble waffle. The experience concludes with a charming trip in your very own Cheshire Cat carriage on the Alice In Wonderland ride. It’s the closest experience to a real life wonderland.

The grotto will open on selected dates from 25 November to 24 December and the week in the run-up to Christmas Eve. Tickets are £16.99, allowing up to two accompanying adults per child to enter the Grotto.

Embrace the festive season with a must-have visit to our Santa’s grotto this Christmas. Your visit to Santa includes meeting the big man himself, and a gift. The Elves will be on hand to guide you through the interactive walkway where Mrs Christmas will meet you and take you into Santas Grotto. 

Visit Santa during weekends throughout December:

Meet Santa in his Grotto at Coral Island

Travel through Santa's wonderland until you arrive at Santa's Grotto. Your ticket includes a meeting with Santa, a goody bag of Coral Island small gifts and sweets, prize tickets and £5 play card credit. You will also get to choose a special gift from Santa's Workshop. 

There's plenty of festive fun to be had all day at Coral Island - why not stay for a festive lunch or dinner in the Buccaneer restaurant where children under 10 can eat for free with a paying adult?

The Grotto will be open from 24 November to 24 December 2023 every Friday 3pm - 8pm and Saturday and Sunday 11am - 6pm. Tickets are £9.99 per child and £6.99 for little ones six and under.
