'21 Days' is an art exhibition showing limited edition screen prints at Shaw's Art House Cafe. 40 Clifton Street, Blackpool. FY1 1JP.
The whole new body of work has been created by internationally acclaimed Blackpool based artist Robin Ross. The concept for the work was developed with support from Boavista Arts Centre in Lisbon as part of an Artist in Residence programme during June 2017.
Robin literally walked the streets and hills of the city in temperatures averaging 30 degrees discovering the people, buildings, artists, designers and creatives to produce the work. The images are my impression of the time I spent in the Portuguese capital.
The Exhibition is part of a new initiative developed with Shaw's highlighting 'Local Business working together to create a better Blackpool'.
The Blackpool Independent art scene is growing in the town, with pop up exhibition's and pop up shops and the artists and photographers being recognized across the globe.
"21 Days' opens on November 10th from 5.30-7.30.p.m. and continues until 23rd December. Shaw's Art House Cafe opens Monday to Saturday 9.00.a.m. - 3.00.p.m..
