Just like Funny Girls, a trip to Blackpool is not the same if you miss Ma Kelly’s. Though they are not exclusive gay bars, their inclusive and friendly attitude, entertaining cabarets and lively atmosphere will guarantee a good evening.
They have three locations – Blackpool Central, Blackpool North and Blackpool South. Ma Kelly’s has grown into a popular attraction, boasting six venues across Blackpool, up to 9 acts a day, 7 days a week.
The six venues are: Ma Kelly’s North, the Showboat, previously Uncle Tom’s Cabin, Ma Kelly’s Station, Ma Kelly’s Foxhall, Ma Kelly’s South and Ma Kelly’s Champs Bar.
Top tip: when the sun is out in Blackpool, head to the recently renovated Ma Kelly’s Champs Bar which features outside seating and projection screens.
They regularly post what’s on at the bar on Facebook, so for regular updates check here.
