Group Travel to Blackpool
Itineraries
Blackpool and its surrounding areas have so much to offer and VisitBlackpool has put together some itinerary suggestions which are perfect to give Group Organisers ideas of what their groups can expect from a short-break in the UK’s biggest seaside resort.
DAY 1
Arrive mid-morning and step straight onto the red carpet to mingle with your favourite TV Stars, climb up on stage with the biggest stars in pop before helping TV’s crime fighters solving the latest case? Experience all this and much more at Madame Tussauds.
When lunchtime beckons why not experience the sumptuous elegance of High Tea in the Tower Ballroom and afterwards work off those scones and sandwiches by taking to the floor and dancing to the famous sounds of the mighty Wurlitzer organ.
Whatever your interests, there is evening entertainment for everyone and with venues such as the iconic Opera House, beautiful Grand Theatre or one of the newest venues, Viva!
DAY 2
VisitBlackpool can offer a range of guided tours for groups of all sizes, with a rich history of entertainment and culture, our new heritage guides will be delighted to take you on a guided tour of the resort and some of it’s wonderful venues including the Winter Gardens and Stanley Park.
If that walking has made you hungry why not indulge in some traditional fish and chips in one of the many restaurants in and around Blackpool.
Don’t forget to visit one of Blackpool’s newest talking points, our Comedy Carpet art installation. Find your favourite comedy legends and giggle at their famous catchphrases.
DAY 3
Blackpool Zoo, set in 32 acres is one of Blackpool’s best-loved attractions and is an award-winning attraction both for its conservation work and its customer experience.
Why not combine this with a visit to Stanley Park and take in some of the delights of the gardens, boating lake, golf course and other facilities, followed by a freshly brewed coffee and delicious cake in the surroundings of the Art Deco café offering spectacular view of the park.
